As some of you know, a couple of years ago my Lovely Wife started riding her own Scoot, and she started off with a Suzuki S40 (650 single cylinder) and she has done real well. But the longer distance riding was not something she enjoyed due to the vibrations that the little thumper caused at speed.  Sad So on Saturday we went out and she bought herself a new Yamaha V-Star 650, she is in love, and right off the bat she wanted to go ride, unlike with the Suzuki she was no fan of any distance. Now once the windshield and bags get in I think there will be no stopping her.  Smiley Smiley
I am really proud of her and the courage it has taken to get this far, as some know she has the handicap with height  Lips Sealed and finding the right Motorcycle she liked has been a challenge, but one she has now overcome and she cannot wait to get in the wind.  cooldude
Yeah I know its not a Valk, but I thought I would share the good but expensive news with our friends.
And oh by the way she looks real hot on that bike too.  Evil

Hey Ice, my wife has a v star 650 and she loves it.  They seem to have the 'ergonomics' for a shorter person, as well as being light enough to handle.  Though light, the bike is heavy enough for stability in the wind, and enough power to keep up.  That all adds up to a happy rider, = someone who wants to ride.  She has put many happy miles on the v star, and we look forward to many more!  Here is a pic of hers, and my Valk.

GOOD for Petra !  cooldude

Personally I think that the 650 V Star is one of the best choices for a "ladies" bike out there.

Now, we have to get together and share some wind.
