I had a Scala Bluetooth headset. Good product, well built. I've been thinking of getting some bike to bike device. Keep us posted on how it works out for you.

Boxer rebellion, the Holy Child. They all pay their rent. But none together can testify to the rhythm of a road well bent. Saddles and zip codes, passports and gates, the Jones' keep. In August the water is trickling, in April it's furious deep.

Got mine last year before riding season, works very well. Only problem so far, is it quit working on a trip and needed to be reset for some reason. You have to plug it into the charger to reset it, so I stopped and found an outlet at a gas station pluged it in for a couble mins. and it started working. So I keep the charger in one of my bags.

I've been using mine for over a year, my riding buddy has the 2nd one from my 2 piece kit. Pairs up to phone and gps without too many problems. My buddy bought one for his wife and we had a 3 way, conversation that is, the other day on the way to lunch. Worked great. I use mine mostly for music from my phone.

We've had ours for over a year now....you got a good price. I paid $348 total with free shipping.
They are much improved over the Q2. The only design issue I don't like is how easy the electronics module disengages from the helmet mount. Wish it was a bit more secure.
Enjoy.

I'm supposed to receive it tomorrow. I hope to take some long trips this summer, one to Montana for sure where I grew up. Hopefully the Bluetooth stereo sound works well for playing music from my phone. That's what I will be using it for the most. On a related note, has anyone mounted a phone car dock to their Valk? The one I use in my vehicle is pretty sturdy and I can't pull it off without pulling the release. I just wonder how that suction cup would hold up on my bike shield. I use the phone for navigation as well so that setup would be perfect. I would hate for it to come off though and lose everything

I use a Sena SMH10 with a Droid and a Ram Mount... here is the link to their site. http://www.ram-mount.com/use the wizard http://www.ram-mount.com/Products/MotorcycleMounts/tabid/128/Default.aspx#/wizardand choose your phone and mount type. I heard good things about the G4, it was a real toss up between the SMH10 and G4, but I liked some of the SMH10 options.

Thanks for the links Designer. Ram doesn't have a specific mount for my phone but I could use one of the generic ones.

Thanks jr, I did a little research on the cell buckle and it looks like the Ram mounts would be a safer bet, though more expensive.

I have the Ram mounts for our GPS on all 3 bikes...well worth the extra money.

Well, I received the G4 on Friday and tested it out all weekend as the weather here was terrific . I installed it in my modular helmet first and I have to say the results were NOT good. The sound was horrible and I had to turn it all the way up to hear any music especially with my glasspacks. I was considering sending it back, but then I tried it in my full face helmet and it was 100% better. I mean the difference was amazing! I guess I need to put some foam or something in the ear section of my modular to move the speakers closer to my ears and to block out some of the outside noise. I should receive my Ram mount for my cell today so I will test that out this afternoon. It supposed to be 70 and sunny
