While cleaning up the chrome on my 200 standard I noticed that the carbeuretor drain tubes were cracked, split and actually disconnected from several of the carbs.

The bike runs fine but I purchased some new tubing and reconnected 4 of the six.  Two I just have not been able to access to reconnect them.

I'm thinking that many Valks are out there running along with disconnect carb drain tubing and the dirver doesn't even know it.  You have to look real close to even spot them.

My questions:  1)...should I be concerned about the two being disconnected?
                     2) Is there a way to access them short of dismantling the top half of the bike?

Your only real concern with them disconnected is that you will forget, open the drain and spill gas on your engine.

I replaced mine when I desmogged, and it still wasn't easy with my fat hands.  I doubt I could  replace them without taking stuff apart.
