Sorry, this just reminds me of a line from a very cheesy movie:
"kids! Don't forget October is bonus recruitment month, earn a double bonus for reporting a family member..."  - The Running Man.

canadia and england are about the same about guns and cops, i wish that the us would follow suit. they give the cops nitesticks  for thier only defence and you gotto admit thier crime rate is far less then the usa. i aint saying take our gun right away( if you aint breaking the law you aint nothing to worry about now do you?) if they are registerd then they are leaglebut give the cops back thier rights. we are paying them to do a job, but then we put restictions on them. yea i know there are bad cops............but there are also bad lawYers, moms and bikers.

(for all you gun nuts out there i am gonna go hide in my fallout shelter) have a nice day

None of my guns are registered and ALL of my guns are legal.  Thats part of the point........gun confiscation is what follows when the government can force you to register them all.  The last thing in the world we need is to copy England, Austrailia or Canada when it comes to gun control.  I just read recently you cannot even have a knife in Austrailia without getting permission, paperwork and then only certain kinds.....

Yep now thatis crazy. What about diesel fuel and fertilizer. Do farmers still get to farm.

Hell they might be making AmFO, instead of growing a crop.

What about when momma gets mad andhits someone with a frying pan, is that a legal weapon in these stupid places.

Sometimes the reply isn't worth the time and bullshit.
What kind of response do you get on the Harley boards to comments like that?

I have been to Canada a couple of times. Rode with Adrian (Chrome) and his wife Sue. Fine couple and wonderful friends. Had a great time every time I went.

With that said. Condeming the Canadian people for what their government is doing is stupid. How would you guys feel if the Canadian VRCC members got on the board and condemed the american people for what our government is doing. You probable would not like it at all.

I think what the Canadian police had done in this case is ludicris at best but the Canadian people dont have anything to do with it. I have seen many cases similar to this one in the US,things that make you go HUH. What are they thinking......

It would appear that the Waterloo Regional Police department might have a suit coming there way. I've travelled to Canada a number of times and the border guards can be "dickheads" on both sides. The people are good folk. Never had any run in with LEO's  police

Yes, they do have a lower crime rate.
But, a crime rate is caused by many different factors.  Population density, overall mental attitude of the general population, education, etc.  I bet stabbings are lower there, too (but do they have less knives?).  There has never been a study that has shown that more guns = more crime.  In fact, in countries that have had civilian firearms ownership, then banned them, have seen an increase in crime.  See Australia and Britain.  Not saying that's the cause, though.  In the US, increased civilian carry has not caused a jump in shootings.  In fact, every state that has adopted relaxed concealed carry laws has seen a decrease in crime.  Again, not saying that's the reason.
I agree with Mad (he's my brother after all).  I have met the nicest people in Canada.  Adrian and Sue are just awesome people.
Would I live there? Nope.  I like my guns too much, and the US is my home.  But I have no problem visiting.  And Adrian and Sue are welcome to go shooting with us here any time they want.
