Cedar Park, Texas

« on: March 08, 2012, 12:29:59 PM »

I have been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Started chemo yesterday at MD Annerson with a 4 hr infusion plus a 2 week regimen of pills that cost $4,700. my copay is $1,600. So far no side effects. I strongy reccomend a colonoscopy if you are over 50. Todays polyps are tomorrows cancer. I have been riding my Valk and it sures feels good to get out in the wind. Please share your stories in you are a cancer patient or survivor. Pat

Had the butt-o-scope twice since 50.  Never felt a thing.

Prayers are coming hard your way as they have been since I heard about this.  You will beat this. angel

Stay strong as you are Pat, medical technology is light years ahead of where they once were on this condition. My brother-in-law went thru this little more than a year ago, he is 70 years old and you can't keep him from working. He's doing great, I know you will too.

Pat, praying for you and your family.  My wife had melanoma removed from her arm and got to spend the night in MD Anderson about 19 years ago.  You are absolutely at the right spot.  Fight hard.  My wife has been cancer free since then.
