I've had the bike for a almost a year now and am just starting to dig into it for the first time.  It came with a  Zumo 550, but I have not been able to get it to work through my headset.  It has the cable for the audio out plugged into the craddle.  I've played with the volume control etc.  Is there something on the bike's audio control unit (that scary thing) that I'm missing?  When I jiggle the audio out cable on the craddle I get static through the headset but nothing else.

The PO also has a cable hooked in for an MP3 player.  At a quick glance it looks like he put a splitter in to run both the GPS and MP3 under the right side cover of the bike.
I'm going to get rid of the MP3 cord since I've purchased the antenna for the Zumo for SAT radio.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure, I'll have to check uglystupid2  So, if I put it on AUX I cannot listen to the radio on the bike, but will be able to use the CB along with the MP3 in the Zummo or the XM along with voice navigation?  So darn confusing.  I think I need to read the destructions for the bikes audio system again and again and again. Sad

I don't have a ZUMO 550 but.....
You can't listen to the factory radio on AUX.
Push the power control button until you see AUX to access the ZUMO.
If you want the CB on push it again until you see AUX and CB on your display screen. Your CB, MP3 in the ZUMO, XM and voice navigation should work.

My set up uses a splitter cable under the right side cover like yours. One cable goes to my IPOD and the other to a Garmin Streetpilot 2720 GPS. I have to switched to AUX to access the IPOD or voice commands in the GPS. My voice commands only work when the IPOD is switched off.
I was getting some static from the GPS through the speakers and solved that problem with a noise suppressor. I plugged it in at the Y connector leading to the GPS.

Thanks for the help.  I guess I just needed to put in AUX  uglystupid2
Never thought of trying that.  Just assumed it would play through.
Although....I had to put it in AUX for the MP3, but never heard the GPS.
I think I need to go play with it for a while again.
