GOT CURVES??

VRCCDS0184

« on: May 16, 2009, 08:08:33 PM »

I purchased a new farm tractor. It will be delivered Tuesday. Nice machine. It looks like the one in the photo, but has a front end loader and cap over the operator. 4 cylinder turbo diesel.
I also picked up a new brushog to go with it. I hated to spend the money, but it was 0 interest for 48 months.
I purchased locally, and have many friends that work at the dealership.

Kubota makes an excellent tractor.  My father in law has 2 with finishing mowers on them.  Never had a problem with either one.  They start and wont stop pulling.  Just sometimes they have too many levers/options.  I've used it to pull up bushes around the house.
I wish I could afford one.  But my ole Craftsman 18 hp mowes the grass just fine here.  My next one though will have hydrostatic transmission.  I hate hitting the clutch/brake to shift gears.

Enjoy it

As Smokin Joe would say, ya can't hide $$$$$.    Then puppies is expensive.  But, they are worth every penny ya pay for it..

Neighbor has one, that has been used, abused rode hard and put away wet....

It is just like that Bunnie, it will not stop......  He changes the oil in the fall and the spring, has a mower, snowblower, tiller, bucket and a blade for it........

Last time I moved it for him it had over 4,000 hours on the meter.........  NO major problems with it, really can't count the 2 minor ones.........  Forgot to put treated Diesel fuel in it last winter and it jelled up on him.  Time before that he just flat run it out of fuel and couldn't get it to prime itself.......   Hauled it up to the dealer for him, they had it in the back room about 8 minutes and drove it out the door to the trailer...  If I had enough acres, I'd really consider one to play with.  Presently, my Johnny Pops are serving me very nicely.
