It’s Time for spring to get here. Lately there has been way to many sensitive people on the board, I keep reading about this or that person taking offense that someone said or did not say, or that they need to leave the board because they feel offended by something that was said or posted.
This seems to be a yearly occurrence on the forum when it’s close to spring and everyone is a bit punchy. Well if your skin is so thin that what people say or post pisses you off to the point of wanting to leave, then leave but don’t sit here and make this huge scene of it, because I personally am sick of all the Prim Donnas whining about their feelings or their virtues being hurt. As someone said not all too long ago, this is a motorcycle forum, get over it. There will be post that you disagree with and some that may offend, but hell don’t look then! And if it offends you that bad, what are you doing on a motorcycle forum?
Life is short, as proven again, RIP Pat, and it should be enjoyed as much as possible and if a few people are having a bit too much fun for some, I think they need a new sandbox, not one where good folks speak their mind, (and sometimes get punished for it) and will post some interesting pictures, but again mostly in good fun.
As said it happens every winter when the season for most is on hold. And for those who stay, give it a couple of weeks and you will see a lot more ride posts again and less bickering, but if you cannot wait that long then move on, stop threatening that you will leave because you do not like this or that. Hell I cannot stand the political rants and raves that are posted so I just don’t look at them and find a new post that interest me, I don’t bitch about other people’s fun whether political religious, or sexual content, which truly never gets totally out of hand, because the folks that are the moderators do a great job keeping this group of adolescents in check.
Sorry for the rant but I am sick of people taking polls, threatening to leave or whatever, because this or that has hurt their feelings. GET OVER IT! This is a motorcycle forum, if it is too suggestive or whatever then move on but stop whining about it.

I live in southern California and I really feel for those of you who have a "riding season". I can imagine that I'd be a little touchy if I had to park my bike for half the year.

Well Ice, you make good points......points I believe in and have voiced myself, but not everyone that speaks up about something is whining. Youre whining here is a little different than others but could be called whining all the same.
We all need to remember that there are actual people attached to the other end of the keyboard, you cannot see facial expressions and hear tone inflections....chances are you will not be eying the "ball" from the same angle as the person you think is whining.
Its kinda like arguing with a fool onlookers cant tell whos who. Less judging, more water rolling off the back like a duck and more RIDING. If you dont like how someone else rolls, SO WHAT. Nothing usually needs said, like you said yourself, get over it
I hope you feel better Ice and can start riding soon as well.
