I knew my daughter had her girls tonight, so I pulled the Chevy out of the garage and called her on the way up to her house.

Told her to get the coats on the girls and herself and we would take a short trip to supper, compliments of  dad & grandpa, on the Chevy.

Pulled into the driveway, the grand babies come flying out the front door, and wanted to jump on the Chevy.   Told them they could set on it till mommy came out and approved it.

Well, it took a little bit of talking as there was no way in hell I can fasten the girls car seats in the Trike.   So, the oldest one set on my right, the youngest one set on my left on her mommy's lap.    We took off on the back streets to get to the restaurant.   Parked, went in and ate.   Came back out, and guess who is setting in front of and behind the Chevy.    State Trooper on one end and a city cop on the other.   Asked what the problem was, and they said there was a report of you with 2 very young ladies and no seat belts.

I said whoa, don't take my word for it but ask the girls if they were in or out of seat belts.   So  the crafty young state trooper asked the oldest girl if they had on seat belts when they came up here.    She said, YES, grandpa had it pulled so tight I couldn't breath.   So he asked her to demonstrate the seat belt to him.

She said what is demonstrate, the trooper got a got look on his face, I told Meghan to crawl up in the seat and show him how the seat belt worked.   She did, the trooper turned around to his buddy, and said that was a waste of our firkin time.    Then he said, you folks have a nice ride home.     Got everyone in the Chevy, fastened the seat belt, the trooper came over and put his hand under it and pulled, he said have a nice evening.

All toll we got in about 40 miles before the sun went down.   It was 68 degrees when I picked them up, my thermometer says is is 60 right now.   Just a tad nippy on my way home, but damn it was fun having all my girls on there with me.

This is the only kid of mine, that has produced any girls.     They are 9 and 4. and ornery as hell.   This is the one who divorced my daughter cause he found someone else who had $$$$$$$, she is a lawyer, and about 7 years older than he is.     He needs his ass kicked, but, I won't answer on the grounds it might incriminate me.

Took my Girlfriends Twila's 3 year old grand daughter for a ride around the block on my Valk. Had her put her bike helmet and knee pads on. . Set her in front of me and away we went. She loved it. When I got back to the house she said "again Meemaa". Thats her name for Twila.  She had a blast..........
