Blessing of the Bikes coming up in Southern Illinois

Each year a group holds a "Blessing of the Bikes" event at Bald Knob Cross located in Alto Pass, IL. This is located in the beautiful Shawnee Forest area of Southern Illinois and Bald Knob is actually the highest point in Southern Illinois. Thousands of Bikers gather for this event and it is a great time of fellowship and seeing other bikes and bikers. It is open to any rider on any brand of bike. If you can attend I am sure you would enjoy it. This year it is going to be held on Sunday, April 29. Riders usually start arriving around 9:00 AM and there will be riders in and out all day. I have included photos which shows riders arriving, riders already there and one of the scenery.
