FINALY!!  got out and went for a 60 mile ride today, first stop was my favorite bridge, the old Cobban.

after that i rode up to Cornel, then up to Hwy M.  "M" is a good road, nice sweaping turns, some gravel spots but nothing serious.  still a bit of snow on the lakes

then crossed the "Iceage Trail" on the way home.  for you southerners, that's where this huge, two mile thick ice cube with an attitude, cut it's way through the area some 20 thousand years ago.

i would have taken some video, but when i took out the camera, the batteries were dead.  opps, sorry.....

Psssst. Don't look now, but from the looks of your pictures, some of it's still there.  Grin

Glad you got out, but 240 miles between us, and you are in a different world.  We probably had that much snow here, after the largest snow fall, mid winter  Shocked  The ground has been bare for the past few weeks here.

Nice pictures, and they look a bit familiar.  My folks used to live just out of EauClaire on HWY 37, just up the road from the 'Mug n Shot'...  Lotsa good memories of that neck o da woods  cooldude

it's about 7 miles south west of Cornell, there's a neat story about it, i was going to take a picture of the historical marker sign, but it was so rusty and the paint was all faded, it wasn't very easy to read.  here's a picture of it (of course, it's behind the cycle..... kinda like baby pictures, close ups of the baby, and there's the Eifel Tower in the back ground....)

here's a website about it.
