I'm gonna mistake this place for a motorcycle forum. Thanks as always for a great RR. I'm gonna try and line the planets up for me to head out there this spring or summer. Just running thru Rio Rancho where my aunt lives and loop up and back thru Colorado perhaps. Dave

Thanks for a very nice post and pictures. When traveling that section of I-10 thru Las Cruces, one would not think that beyond those mountains is the beautiful farmland you pictured.

If you are riding and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.

Very nice, glad the weather cooperated. Now, say to yourself "I-25 South, I-25 South, I-25 South". That should help with the whole I-40/I-25 confusion. I'm here for ya man.

Great ride report as always Mr. Arn. We took a roundabout way to Las Cruces last year on the way home from Tucumcari - Tucumcari to Ft. Sumner (paid our respects to Billy the Kid), to Roswell (to see the Aliens), to Ruidoso to Alamogordo, to Las Cruces. I know what you mean about the empty spaces. Sometimes we'll just park and enjoy the solitude. They are far from empty though, we always see neat stuff. -RP

Now, say to yourself "I-25 South, I-25 South, I-25 South". That should help with the whole I-40/I-25 confusion. It's funny how my mind works. Before I leave I study a map of the area and everything sticks. I've never been lost or had to use my GPS (I keep it in my side bag). However after a ride I can't remember highway numbers or distances and have to look them up over and over.
