Well, we didn't actually ride Pocket Road (3rd try!), but we did have a good ride.
Six bikes this morning at Ryans: Britman, Matt, Thumper, Chris, Tom and I. A great group for some interesting roads.
As is often the case when Britman leads, I saw parts of North GA I have not seen before. The planned route to the Pocket was modified base on the weather radar - thanks Coot!
We meandered around and ended up at TWO for the Chili Special for lunch. Then an interesting route south toward Atlanta that included "Duffy Grizzle Road" and many others - all enjoyable. We even saw something called Mount... well I forget what it was called, but it looked like a bit of Italy in Georgia.
We did see some rain - I got a good soaking the last 30 miles home, but it was worth it.
Can't wait for Britman's Memorial Day ride starting this coming Friday, May 22. Woooohoooo!
Thanks Britman for a great ride.
