Took it down the street a block and back for the first time(no tag so didn't go any further). WOW...does that sucker fly, it most definitely has been brought back to life. I have new front pads on order but that's about it for the resto job. The brakes are good but the pads are worn to the point the pistons are extended way out and don't release as they should. I'll have some pics to post in a few days. Man oh man, what a kick in the a$$ it was to punch it after nearly two months of work. Yeehaw!
Maybe I should keep it and sell Black Beauty......naaawww!!!

Mike, based on past experience....I have a better chance of finding it without your GPS than you do with it.
I'll try getting some shots of the finished product this week. I guess the brake pads won't really show up in them.

Jeff, you'd have to take a number I think. I've had at least a half dozen say the same thing, two have offered me a nice five digit figure. That bike isn't going anywhere as long as I can still throw a leg over it.

Mike, do you think you'll make it to InZane this year? I'd sure like to make it myself but doubt it will happen unless some family member comes to stay with Rita. She's giving serious thought to the Deep Brain Stimulation operation, possibly in June, as a birthday present to herself. Might help, might not. If she does go through with it, I'll not be going anywhere for a few months following. As they say in sports....there's always next year I guess!
Stay in touch bud.
