Seems like it comes from the front. Only when cold and moving. Goes away after bike is on the move maybe 1/2 a mile. Making me nuts! Any clues?

IT IS NORMAL. IT IS A LITTLE VACUME VALVE IN THE VAC SYSTEM. DROVE ME NUTS TOO UNTIL I FOUND OUT IT WAS SUPPOSED TO DO IT.

Think you got to narrow this down a bit.

Does the "clicking" stop when the bike is not moving?
Does the "clicking" frequency increase with increase in speed?
Does the "clicking" frequency increase with RPM increase?
Does the "clicking" change in any way during braking? (Louder, softer, faster, slower With front or/and back brake)

One possible answer is that there is a rubber insert on the inside of the fenders. Sometimes one end will come loose (I believe they are just glued to the inside of the fenders) They can flap around and cause a kind of "clicking" noise as they slap around inside the fender. Ain't saying that's it but it could be.

Yeah, you got to find the association with the different areas of the bike.

Trying to narrow down possible causes is the best step.

Moonshot said it!
