And he has cleared me to ride!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Amoung other things heh heh heh!
I do have to take it easy, can't jump right back into all the work and excercise, must ease into it but at least I am cleared to do it!  cooldude
Still have a few things to get done like a cat scan in a month to make sure the tubes they used to fix the aneurysm's are not leaking, they want me to get cholesterol checked in a couple months and a scan for circulation in my legs in a couple months too. But other than that, I am good to gooooooooo!

Had my surgery September 27. The expectation was that it would be a year before I was back in the saddle. Somehow I've been bustin' the curve since my first few hours in recovery. Was back on the Magna in just over 3 months, and on the Valk a month after that. Last week, I had to run to the hardware store from work around mid-morning. As I was mounting up on the Valk, one of the sales ladies pulled in and saw me.
"Does you doctor know you're doing that?" she demanded.
I was happy to tell her that not only did he know it, he encouraged it.
The first rides are a bit tentative, but it's unreal how therapeutic they are. It's a huge moral booster as you start to feel normal again. It also helps you gain strength and stamina. H@!!, the gas for  my rides ought to be covered by my HMO.
Congrats on the progress. My prescription - keep riding.
