Attaching a document to a post

Is there a way to attach a Word document to a post?
I use Photobucket and did not find a way here.

You could scan it in and make it a jpeg, then put it in photobucket and attach it.

Or, you could just copy it and paste it in as part of your post.  Or put it in the cloud using web apps, then paste the link.

Probably better ideas, those are just mine.
