So we had a landslide last week, you may have heard.  TDOT just got it cleared up today (thank you!) and the road is open.  I call it a landslide instead of rockslide because there wasn't much rock there...mostly dirt and trees.  This turn it happened in always has debris falling in the road, and we've stopped many times to clean it up.  TDOT put up some preventive barriers and since a large portion of material slid away, (they carried out 80+ truckloads of earth!) it should stay clear now.
