Listen Folks! It's difficult to find argument with "FryeVRCCDS0067"s theory on this quetsion, just read both his replys above.
Red n White Valkyries are fast but they simply can't beat the black. I think it comes down to it being a 'freak in quantum physics' with the black ones as opposed to it being by design.

I've been told (by a few HD riders) that a truely fast bike needs to be deafening LOUD!

Do those two-tone Valks have loud pipes?

Now that's another advantage that is shared by all the Valkyries not just the Black ones. The special design of our exhaust focusses all the accoustic energy into one powerful wave that gives us a 60 db boost when we crank the throttle resulting in that extra 10 hp. No wasted energy at all. It is however very dangerous for anyone getting too close to the exhaust of the Valkyrie. Silent but deadly hmmm. Grin

All of you are missing something here. I have a 97 Bumblebee. And it was a 97 Bumblebee that was sent to all the magazine in 1996. (Remember magazines?) And it was that machine which created the fantasy of a 12-second even quarter mile and a lot of other performance numbers that never seem to be repeated with production Valkyries. So to make a short story long, the 97 Bumblebee is the fastest.

But it's important to use the correct oil. What oil should I use?    2funny

I agree that Red / Black are the fastest, we have the best of the two previous fast model, the Red from the 1st fastest 97 model and then and the Black from the 2nd fastest, That then for sure makes all Red/Black truly the fastest Valkyries ever made!!!

Love those Valkyries!

What if you own one all black and one red and black one? crazy2

Think I would bundle both of them together and trade up to a Green and silver. Then you'd be smoking

What is it with the black ones that makes them so much faster?
