I had the pleasure of meeting Paul in Libertyville Illinois in the early 70's. It started from a simple hello. I recognized the voice and asked if he was indeed Paul Harvey. We talked for a little while and  wesaid good-bye. I listened to him before that meeting and up until he died (RIP) .

Actually, it was in 1965.

How did he know we would end up in this sad state of affairs?  Cry

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour

John Adams

"We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."John Adams (The Works of John Adams, ed. C. F. Adams, Boston: Little, Brown Co., 1851, 4:31)

Without a revival of faith in this land,,,,we are doomed to be a foot note in history.
