The weather was perfect (I think Pat has some way of getting God to cooperate with this), there were a lot of good people from all over for this.  The memorial ride was split into three groups of ten and was a really nice ride in the country with some really great scenery.  There was a nice memorial service afterwards and there were many folks that had good stories to tell about their experiences with Pat.
It was good to finally meet some of the characters from this board.  I've been working weekends for the last two years so I always missed out on everything that happens on the weekend.  I'm looking forward to future meet ups with the good people in this club.
I know we'll all miss Pat on future rides but it's good to think about him riding in the Heavenly breeze alongside Joe Boyd.

I like that image!   angel

I'm glad there was a good turn-out for Pat's memorial; wish we could have made it.

In this wild and wolly world, there are only 3 things you can depend on, your brains, your bros, and your bike.  Ride free!!!

. ...Sounds like an Excellent Memorial, befitting a great guy like Pat, sorry we couldnt make it.
Dont know if anyone video taped the Memorial, but if they did would be great to watch it here.
As far as "Pat Stories" go, I have one of my own, and I hope no one minds if I tell it here.

..We first met Pat n Deb in Bellaire last year at Inzane. We invited them to spend the weekend at our place, before they began their adventure back to Texas. They accepted and we rode the bikes up over the Bridge and took a jet ferry to Mackinaw Island the next day. Once we got there we decided to take a horse and carriage ride to tour the Island. Our tour guide was this young kid, who was kind of laid back and a tad cocky, but he was funny and likable.

We had seats in the first row, right behind the tour guide, and about half way through the tour one of the harnesses came loose on one of the horses. So the guide asked if someone would take the reigns, while he jumped down and fixed the problem. Pat was right behind him, so he volunteered and jumped up into the drivers seat and took the reigns. I saw a great photo op, so I jumped off the carriage to the side and began to snap some pictures.

Pat smiled for the shot, and then turned to the kid who was just about done and in a low voice said...giddy yap. ....Well..the kid suddenly turned and looked at Pat with a slight look of panic on his face and quickly scrambled back up and out from between the two horses. Pat had this mischievous little grin on his face.

.....Right then I knew....I like this guy ! ..  Cool

. ....God Bless you Pat, one day we,ll meet again. ..  angel
