Beautiful east Tennessee ( GOD'S Country )

« on: March 25, 2012, 03:50:09 PM »

We rolled out of the Knoxville,Tennessee area saturday morning under very cloudy skys . It looked like at anytime we would get wet. Two day's of ridin' and not a drop touched us the entire trip  cooldude Hook-up with Jim ( Coot ) in Sweetwater, Tennessee and the ride was on. First break along side the beautiful Hiwassee River in The Cherokee Natonal Forest.

Left to Right...Gordon ( Lucky 13 ) Paul ( Wimp ) Jim ( Coot ) all outstanding rider's.

Hiwassee Lake in the Western North Carolina Mountains.

After leaving Hiwassee Dam Coot turned us on to a few roads we had never been on that took us over toward Murphy, North Carolina. I plan to use some of these roads this Oct. when we have " The Fall Color Ride " out of Robbinsville,NC I think you folks will really enjoy the ride this year cooldude  We was in Tennessee, North Carolina , Georgia and this morning when we came out Warwoman Road we could have threw at rock and hit South Carolina but turned for The Highlands.

We landed in Clayton, Ga. for the over-night many of you know this motel as Britman and myself both has used it for past ride's. They have remodeled the rooms and they look pretty good...Decent place to stay  cooldude

We came home through The Highlands this morning....
Bikes parked in Bridal Veil Falls.

Beautiful Dry Falls

On the way home we cut through Deal's Gap and had a wonderful adrenaline rush doing The Dragon US 129.

No traffic or cops this afternoon when we came through shot of The Deals Gap Store.

Thanks Gordon ,Paul and Jim for hookin' up for the ride this will be one I'll remember  cooldude

Y'all ride safe down Texas way Don  cooldude   Doppler is a wonderful tool when riding if you don't care where you're going as long as its dry that way  Smiley  Fingers crossed for dry roads when we scout " Return To Hillbilly Highway " on April 14-15-16.
