He sounds pretty confident enough to say this. It is Fox news but it is Obamas own words, sounds like he already knows the game plan.

President Obama assured Russian President Dmitry Medvedev Monday that he'd have "more flexibility" after the November election, during a conversation that appeared to focus on the touchy issue of missile defense.

Obama, during a sit-down with Medvedev in Seoul, urged Moscow to give him "space" until after November. The conversation was relayed by a TV pool producer who listened to the recording from a Russian journalist.

"This is my last election. After my election, I have more flexibility," Obama told Medvedev.

Basically, zero is saying, not only is his re-election a forgone conclusion, but he won't have to make any promises or keep any he's already made, to his constituency.  What gall - "Wait til November - then just watch me run amuk..."  Reminds me of the scene when The Jerk found his name in print in the phone book.   I think he's right - none of the prospects have the charisma to beat him, and that's what it takes in this country to win - platform, planks,  real governing ability doesn't matter so much.  The winners have charisma.  God help us, four years of Zero in office as a lame duck.  And he'll get to change the Supreme Court into a majority of liberals, to screw us for years after he's gone.

Did you watch Harry's Law last night?  Really great scene where she argued that trampling on the Bill of Rights is "obscene".

Buy guns and ammo.  Try to get them unregistered, use the "loopholes" the Brady crew complains about.  Get your CCW if you want one, but recognize you are then on their list.

Just this morning, the liberals are already talking about encouraging Hillary to run in 2016.  Didn't think I'd ever say this, but even she would be better than Zero.

Kinda like Bush saying "I've acquired some political capital and I intend to spend it".

Are you really that naive so as to be genuinely surprised by or offended at this when it's basically the way things work?

With regard to the upcoming election and President Obama.

Do I want him to be re-elected? Absolutely not.
Do I think he will win a 2nd term? In a landslide.
Why?
The electorate is split into 3 basic groups. Republicans (Conservatives) , Democrats (Liberals) and Independents.

Now anyone claiming to be independent but leans to the right is, in reality, in the Conservative camp and likewise for those leaning to the left being in the Liberal Camp.

The Conservative voting block and the Liberal voting block have been fairly evenly split for quite some time and still is.

This leaves the independent voters deciding the election.
Now the true independent doesn’t have a political agenda. Their decision is probably made the day of the election. Likely based on a candidate’s charisma and ability to project a commanding presence on TV with little or no regard for policy.

Obama’s poll numbers have been dismal. But, this leaves them to trend only upwards. They have already begun that trend.

The media consistently gives him a pass on things that would have been career ending scandals for anyone else. Solyndra and the DOJ Gun deal (Fast and furious?) to name a couple of them.

Given all that, and a weak Republican candidate in Romney, (what the GOP sees in this guy baffles me) and a polarizing one in Santorum, I see an Obama win in November given the current glide path. Unless he kills puppy dogs and clubs baby seals, he should be a lock.

i will NOT be voting for obammer, but i'm sure the election has already been decided and somehow i voted for him.

here in wisconsin, we have a republican governer that has lost his bid in a recall election.  we now have a democrat that will assist in getting obammer back into the oval office.  that being said, we will be forced to sign on to the "high speed rail" bull sh--.  a train that will only benifit those in madison and milwaukee with cheap transpertation that my property tax pays for.......

it would be nice to have political leaders that CARE for the people that elected them into office.

He is facing a recall, but that has not happend yet...

He is not a friend of unions, and was sucessful in getting the State Employees (teachers and such) to have to pay in to health care, and some of their retirement (like the majority of the rest of us)...

The unions didn't like the outcome, so they got the signatures required (some Daffy Duck, some Mickey Mouse) to force a recall...

Gonna be close, but I believe he will survive the recall  cooldude

Why was he recalled in the first place?

he forced the teachers union to pay a SMALL percentage into their retirement fund.

mind you, Governor Walker hasn't lost yet, but there's no way in hell he'll be re-elected.  wisconsin is an extremely democratic state, republicans are VERY few and far in-between.  if you go into any public school you will find "recall Walker" signs on many teachers cars, some even in the class room.  i tell my kids to "just agree with the teacher, and NOT discuss any opposing viewpoint"
People that have signs that support Walker have had them vandalized, i work with guys that get insane with hatred over Scott Walker, as if he’s destroying the whole educational system, then I’ll ask “so, who’s the teacher in your family?” and they’ll answer their mother, or father. As if I couldn’t figure that out……

the main thing is that Kathleen Falk and her cronies LEFT THE STATE when there was supposed to be a discussion, then they blame Walker for not including them in the decision!!

I hope so too...

My boys are 19 & 23, and they have friends at my place often.  Loth (98T), Jim C, and I were sitting around a few weeks ago, sippin' some 'Daddy Juice' and smokin' some good stogies, when my 23 year old joined our 'solve the problems of the world' discussion...  Between Jim, Loth & I, I think he and his buddies (all hard working young men) see the recall for what it is, and have begun to spread the word that Walker needs all the votes/help he can get...  If we can start these young bucks on the right path early, there may be hope for the world after all  Wink

But this time it's a one sided relationship.  They ask and Nobama gives, but gets NOTHING in return.  Now, he's gonna back off of nuclear de-armament because he knows it's not a popular way to go in an election year and tells the other country, with as many or even more weapons than us, to give him time, until after his "last" election to get back to them.  As it is his "last" election, he'll be able to throw in the old dodge in the driveway to help them cart away our national defense.

Then why did it take him 3.5 years to address the most important thing that faced our nation since he's been president.....unemployment.  It took over 3 years for him to come up with that BS jobs bill.  He had both houses in his first two years and instead of addressing jobs, he rammed a another BS bill down our throats by way of "crisis" fears and blue state bribes,  Yup, he cares, about bringing down America to the rest of the world's level.  Then it will be fair and socially just for all.

The Republicans are acting like a bunch of Idiots.
They need to walk away from the White House race (that they can't win anyway) and concentrate all of their time, treasure, temperment and talent on the House and Senate.  That way, at least they could hold Obummer in abeyance for his second try at ruining the country.
