Very irresponsible. He calls someone (maybe ambulance?) and leaves. Not only is he irresponsible but watch how many other just keep on going. You would hope someone else might help out. I counted 11 people that just went on with their day.

Except if that were the case he'd probably just pick up the bike and leave without calling anyone. So maybe it wasn't him after all.

cant believe I am saying this but............
I dont think Wayne (Strong Eagle) would leave any of us laying in the road, even those he childishly calls names like stupid and poopyhead (well maybe he doesnt use poopyhead anymore)
Lets see if he posts to tell me I am wrong before someone says something as self damning as that again
Hope the person struck was not subsequently run down again and recovered.
Any person struck by a vehicle is a victim even if they were careless
If you were on the road helplessly laying there trying to hang on, as I have been a few times, you would not post what you did Hope you were just having a bad day cause it didnt sound like you
By the way there is no Strong Eagle listed under members was he kicked out or did he leave on his own? Oss

Happens here too. A few years ago I came across a motorcycle accident on Indiana 45 between Bloomington and Beanblossom. Rider was back on his feet, passenger was sitting on the ground just off the road. Bike was still down.
The rider said several cars and three bikers saw them and rode on by. Most of them while his girl was still partly in the road. Now, no one had hit them, he just blew the corner but she was hurt pretty bad and took a ride in an ambulance. He was busted up some too, probably broken ribs. I stayed till rider, passenger and bike were taken care of. But, how did those people before me just leave them there? In particular, how did the bikers just ride on by? This wasn't the big city either which makes it harder to figure.

i dont get it either. some things that anyone should step up and do are just obvious. this is the kind of behavior that society reflects in too many ways. this worries me way more than who's president.

The sad thing is that ppl just don't have a conscience or heart anymore. When I was younger, if someone had an accident people couldn't stop and help fast enough! Seems people always have something to hide. Hit and runs happen here all the time and most of the time it's a cager that hits a car/ bike and keeps on trucking. The guy in the clip hit and dropped his bike so he was forced to stop. I just wonder if he was in a cage would he stop then? I hope he really called somebody!

It seems to be common everywhere, although I've seen more instances of that sort of utter callousness in China... It's really depressing to know how careless people can be to one another. WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS VIDEO IS EXTREMELY DISTURBING WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm posting this as a link instead of an embedded video so anyone who chooses to watch it has to actively click the link, but it's a kinda famous video of a 2 year old girl being run over.... twice... and then several other people walking, driving and riding around her until someone finally stops to help. First time I saw it I wanted to throw up through the tears... http://tinyurl.com/7779xvd

Being the Devils advocate.
The call he placed was more likely to a friend than the authorities. What he heard was "Hurry hurry get the hell out of there..."
Call was too short to be to the authorities, in any language!!!

You don't believe that God exists..................... Remember ? It's ALL A MYTH. Just like the Roman Gods. Just like the Greek Gods. Just like the Hindu Gods. A myth. There is no more reason for the God of the Christians, or the God of the Jews, or the God of the Muslims to exist than any of the other gods. Myths.
The initial post was meant to be a joke................ For what it's worth, I don't really believe that you would actually show such disregard for human life. But, if I were to base my conclusion solely on the words that you choose to use against others here on this board, I could easily reach the conclusion that you could.

Besides that a person must repent of their wrong doing before they can seek forgiveness. You are under NO obligation to forgive someone that doesn't wish to receive your forgiveness. Would you be better off and the better person if you did ? Definitely yes. BTW, I am not "MAD" at SE or X or whoever he will post as next week. It was meant to be a joke, hence the ( ). And I don't really believe that SE would actually run somebody down and then leave. But, his words that he chooses to use against the members of this board as he "interacts" here, do nothing to support that conclusion.

I can assure everyone that helpful citizens are alive and well, especially in NE Ohio.
Not to keep bringing it up, but I am a police officer. I have been to hundreds & hundreds of crashes in my career. For the bad crashes with injury and other assorted chaos, I can easily say that in 95% of those cases there is an ABUNDANCE of regular everyday citizens who are at the scene when we arrive doing many things to try and help the situation.
I can even point out the time that myself and 5 other VRCC members were riding home from the first Inzane in Bellarie. We were heading south on I-75 between Saginaw and Flint when we came upon a car off the side of the road on it's side, it easily had rolled 2 or more times. It had just crashed as there was still smoke/steam streaming off of it and dust still in the air. A kid no older than eight was running from the wreckage right towards the highway, completely in shock. My wife (JoJo) grabbed a hold of him and got him to lay down. Me and the other riders went to the car which had 3 other people in it. Literally, 20 people came running to the wreck and helped get the people out of the car and on the ground to await EMS.
Once the situation was stabilized, pretty much everyone got back in their vehicles and left. No thanks needed or expected. They helped because it is the right thing to do...
... it happens all the time.

That's good to know. Good on you for the work you do too.

Was that Ole SE err "X" ridin' his motor "cicle" in Singapore ? “My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.” James 1:19-20 I just figured that if he rides his bike with the same attitude that he posts with on this board then it could be him. Except if that were the case he'd probably just pick up the bike and leave without calling anyone. So maybe it wasn't him after all. very "christian" of you. What do you care ? You don't believe that God exists..................... Remember ? I don't "care" at all. Your post demonstrates the magnitude of your hypocrisy. While spouting your sanctimonious poppycock about Jesus and the bible, you nevertheless remain a hater and a bigot. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what the REAL feelings of the muslims are.
BUT THEN SE YOU AREN'T ALWAYS THE MOST INTELLIGENT MEMBER OF THE SPECIES People may dislike me, what I say, and what I believe. But I sure as hell am not living a lie. Contrary to what you might think, I don't hate you. I do however carry a GREAT disdain for the manner in which you treat others. And I am not being a hypocrite in ANY manner. Being a Christian does not mean that you must lie down and become a "Doormat" to the evil people of the world. There is such a thing as "Righteous" anger. In otherwords it is OK to get angry with someone, the key is what you do with that anger. And while I have disagreed with you MANY times and suspect that I will continue to do so. The manner in which I have responded to your words have been MUCH calmer and restrained than yours. As a matter of fact the only disrespectful or hateful words that I have ever used have been "your" own. And I will continue to throw "your" own words back at you as often as necessary in the hope that someday you will realize that you should choose them more carefully. Somehow I suspect that you do know how to utilize restraint in the choice of your words when having a "face to face" conversation. Otherwise you would not have become a successful businessman. If you "bullied" people in your face to face conversations the way that you "bully" people here you'd probably find yourself in constant physical confrontations. What I do not understand is why you feel that it is OK to be the "Bully" of this neighborhood. But that is OK, I have never had problem standing up to bullies and that doesn't make me "less" of a Christian.
