a coulpe years ago I read a post about wiring your blinkers to the side stand light so that it would blink when the blinkers were on.  I have a set of risers on the bike and can't really see the lights on the headlight unless I lean forward.  I can see the side stand light when riding without having to lean forward.  I said all that to see if anyone could point me in the right direction to find that post , I tried searching but to no avail.
Thanks in advance,

I'd prefer to lean forward to check the indicator rather than to complicate the wiring.

However your sidestand has a interlock (safety) switch. It will not allow the motor to run when the stand is deployed and you put the bike in gear.

I remember reading it too, but if memory serves, it was to change the light so you had a left and right turn indicator.  Try that in your search.
