Has anyone had the ultimate King big boy seat? I now have the big boy seat, and find that you cant move around on it much, I have been blamming it on it not being leather but was wondering if the king would be better. According to the site it says the king has 2 extra inches of seat room. Does that effect the passengers room. Is it more comfy? Im either buying new seats or getting the big boy recovered in leather, let me know Thanks

Had the King since it was first offered, works fine for me but it's not the one in the picture below. That's my "show" seat and for local use, the King is used for travel. I'm 5'10" with a 30" inseam, check in about 230lbs.  I had the Big Boy before this one and it was more than adequate. Then Des let me take a ride on the King during Bike Week a few years back. That's all it took, done deal.

Got the King & it is bigger than the BigBoy. Plenty of room for the passenger, I think the pillion seats are the same size.  cooldude

I have the king and find it much more comfortable than the big boy seat. I am 6'2", with a 34" inseam and now 220 lbs. (and growing, lol). Unfortunately I can't comment on the passenger seat as I still have the OEM on back.

I bought a new 4 piece studded Big Boy set from my local Craigslist. I hated every single mile I put on that seat. It put WAY TOO much pressure on things I didn't want that kind of pressure on. At last years Inzane, Des gave me a great deal on a studded King Big Boy set. He even through in the cover set! It was instant love. The King Big Boy, for me, is excellent. Then Des went ahead and sold my Big Boy set for me instead of selling one of his new sets.

I simply cannot say enough good things about Des and the way he does business, The guy simply rocks. I'm only 5'10" with about a 30" inseam. I'm over 250 pounds and the King Big Boy is wonderful. I have no issue flat footing at stops, just like with the Big Boy. The main difference is the front of the King Big Boy is MUCH flatter where the front of the Big Boy takes a sharp rise.

All the best,

Mark

I have a Big Boy on my I/S and a King on my Std.  If I could afford it, I would get a King for the I/S. Wink

It will work with the OEM passenger seat.  I assume, for the other part of the question, you meant standard  back rest and the answer will depend entirely upon what you mean by standard back rest.  The King Big Boy can be ordered with and woks well with its own backrest.

I tried jell insert, jell pad, air pad and then the big boy and was not satisfied. The king made me happy!

I'm 6' 2" and 380 lbs. The king fit's me very well. According to your size you should be able to move around good on it.Very comfortable seat!

Just the opposite for me. Im 6'-5" and 36" inseam and about 200 lbs. I put a king boy seat on my interstate and it gave me major heat points(I think thats what they are called). I have a big boy seat on my standard. I traded my king boy to SIX GUNS (Thanks VIC) for his big boy seat. Personally I like the big boy seat much better. Maybe I just dont have any padding on my backside. lol

The King Boy is flatter than the BB which allows you more freedom.  The BB that I had was cramping my arthritic hips so I went with the KB which is much more comfortable for me.
