Went to pop the trunk back on my I/S and noticed that the male end connector was cracked. I would like to replace it to reduce the possibility of future problems.

Are their alternatives without buying the entire harness? Can I splice new ends possibly? Any ideas?

I take it you are refering to the wire harness, not the latch on the trunk.

I've posted this meany times. You should be able to find the right one here. Only place I have found them in a 1 1/2 yr search. Haven't heard anything from anyone, except the one person who bought from them and I kept the link for my future use, if the company is good or not.

Making too much out of a small thing I think.

First would be tape it up neatly with some waterproof tape.

Probably get another 10 years out of that simple kind of repair.
