Hi, have a Corbin seat and over the years it wore an outline on the lower part of the gas tank from the tip of the seat that touches the tank.

 I'm having the bike painted a new color, any ideas what to put on that part of the tank, or under the seat to protect it?

Appreciate the help!

I've used  a clear film paint protectant on my car. You can get it by the inch or foot here:

Look at tank protector's the internet is full of them ....They are more or less for a sport bike but I see no reason you could'nt put them on the Fat Girl.....Some pretty cool ones available.

Take your Corbin and pull back the seat cover in the front and grin off some of the seat pan. That should give you a little room between the tank and seat.

You can glue some felt on the seat (the area that contacts the tank).
