Thanks again to Hot Glue and FB for a most awesome spread!  Your hospitality is second to none! And the BBQ of course was fantastic, (as usual).  Thanks again to 2 of the most generous folks I have ever met!

That is Kenneth's bike.  He is from Louisiana.  He won the bid for the Interstate spark plug covers.

RainMaker in the house at 3:30 after clocking 1010.2 miles over the weekend.

Left College Station and decided to go to I-45 and then north instead of the normal route.  Stopped in Centerville on a hunch and to get gas and found Disco, Lucky Chris and Amanda coming out of Woodys (guess they can't get enough BBQ).  So we rode together until I-20, where Disco continued his ride into the northern badlands and Chris, Amanda and I went west to God's Country.

As for me, I had the best BBQ so why eat any more until next GOTF?

Thanks, HG and FB, for another fabulous gathering, great hospitality and fantastic food and brothership.

This is the second largest event in the VRCC - only Inzane is attended by more.

Thanks again!

Hotglue and FlamingoBabe - what a weekend.  Great food, great times and meeting new friends is always great.

Thank you for all you do...  This was my first time to attend and what a show...

Looking forward to next year.  Not sure why you haven't opened your own BBQ shop - but then again, when would you ride.

Again thanks,

Willie

Didn't get to post this last night when we got home from the best GOTF that we've ever been to. I forgot our computer was in the shop. HG and FB really out did themselve this year. It was great see all the old friends and meeting new ones. We had a very LARGETIME. Many thanks to you both. Side note Timbo enjoy the brew. Hope to see ya'll again at Snook.

Timbo and Jackie are home (arrived about 5:30), mowed the lawn and cleaned up the bike (at least a little).  Thank you again to the Bakers...what a fantastic time and worthwhile event.  This is one of my most favorite things to do all year!  Met some new folks this round.  Never enough time to visit with everyone, but it was great to see each and every one...

First attendance for me.
Thanks a bunch, HG & FB, for such a fine event! Everything was wonderful. I hope to attend next year.

Thanks to Baron pulling me up I45 on way home, I think we set some kind of two wheel land speed record;
4-1/2 hours to my garage in Valley Ranch from HoJo - Houston. 2 stops with a meal at first stop.
(but it was fun)

Back safely in quarters *Saturday* afternoon after having to make an unfortunate early departure due to illness.  I'm in such a foul humor this morning (and was in that state most of yesterday) that I had to make sure you folks know that *you're* the reason.  If you weren't such great people to be around, I wouldn't give a crap that I missed out on the main events, and I *might* even be able to smile this morning.  Just to add insult to injury, I foolishly wore a short-sleeved shirt for the dash back to San Antonio, and El Sol didn't miss the opportunity to fry the #$%@! out of my exposed arms.  Oh well, I paid (and am paying) the "stupid tax", which is appropriate: stupid *should* hurt.

Sure as thunder hope to do better next year.  In the meantime, River's walking cast comes off on the 11th, and one way or the other we intend to be at Sodolak's on the 14th.  Probably gonna take the VTX instead of the Rune -- I've GOT to get me a better saddle on Astrid.  With the stock seat, an hour at a time is about all I can do before every little bump in the pavement brings tears to my eyes, literally.

A great pleasure and privilege to meet so many of you in person for the first time!  Thanks, LynDel, for the invite to Irwin this year.  It's definitely a possibility IF I can get a Brakeaway and a new saddle before then.
