Being a Motorcyclist for over 55 years it is refreshing to see a Motorcyle Dealership open 7 days a week. I just took a short ride out to Frederick, CO & right off I-25 there is an H-D dealer, High Country H-D that was open. Painted on their front door is a sign that says OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK. A lot of Motorcycle Dealers now have SUMMER HOURS (ONLY) that show they are open six days a week which includes Monday. As almost ALL of you know, Motorcycle Dealers are not normally open on Sundays & Mondays. Most riders ride on week-ends & if a problem arises that requires going to a M/C Dealer ya gotta wait till Tuesday to get your sickle in to them. Just a part of life. The RENT goes on 7 days a week so why not be open. I recently had a water pump go out & took the Valk in on a Friday after work. I ordered it with TWO DAY AIR FREIGHT...SORTA EXPENSIVE. So, I thought the part would be there on Tuesday. NOT!!! The order went in on Tuesday & the part arrived on Thursday. The sickle was finished on Friday. I like their service department & the guys working there. But if you want to pay for two day shipping don't order it close to the week-end.

Don't know about any dealer I've seen being open 7 days a week, but there is only one around here open on Monday's, which I do buy things from. Even if they are V-twin guys.

A friend of mine bought his HD there and said they were great to deal with. I used to work just down the street from them and have been there many times but had no idea they were open 7 days a week.
Just fyi Rocky Mountain Motor Sports - Loveland, CO just up I-25 is open on Saturday -and they know Valkyries. The PO of my IS had work done there and they seemed to to have done him right.

I went to one with a sign: "OPEN 24 HOURS."  Smiley When I walked up to the door, they were locking up!  Shocked
What about the sign that says open 24 hours. What's up with that, I inquired.  Angry The guy said, yes we are open 24 hours, but not in a row! Cheesy 2funny crazy2

We had a pharmacy in our neighborhood that had a rather large neon sign that read; "Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year".
Yet on the door it read; "Hours of Operation: M-F 8:00 AM-10:00 PM, Sat 8:00 AM-5:30 PM, Sun 9:00 AM-5:00 PM, Closed Holidays".  Shocked

Yeah, I certainly can see where it would be convenient if you have an issue. But I also hate working weekends so...

In Iowa, no vehicles whith an engine of any size can be sold on Sunday, so all the shops are closed then and in the winter Monday's are included.

In the summer they are open 6 days a week.

That is Truck, Bus, Auto, motor cycle, scooters and the like.

Two HD dealers in the area, same owners. One is more than 15 yrs old-closed Sundays.
The other, 5 yrs or so old, newer operating agreement with mama HD and they must be open Sundays (unless a holiday). The older one can be open Sunday, if they choose, but the newer one must be.

Only one of about 5 dealerships around here is closed on Monday (the Kawasaki shop), all others open 6 days. Monday closing sounds like it might be more regional in nature.

I personally don't think we need 365 days of shopping. I remember 45 years of living without it. I know many work and like the ability to shop on Sundays, but they have other days off to get it done.

Just a fan of simple things.
