yes, but spend the extra money for the high/low version. I just have the version without high/low. You can see great, but i get flashed. I would go with the 10K when I buy again. I originally went with 6K. way to blueish. I believe evilbay sells them for around 80. Just my opinion.

Good feedback, thanks, but I thought as you went up the scale 6k t0 10k the light would get more blue not less??? I certainly don't know ,just what I thought I had gleaned from reading on the net.

Yes, the higher K you go, the bluer and you get less light/visibility.

Go with 4300k dual xenon (just a little whiter than halogen).  They use a relay and shift the bulb in/out to get the high-beam position.

I've had my eyes on this: Honda Motorcycle HID Xenon Kit High Low H4 Bi

At $49, they look reasonable.

My son just got two sets of these, one for his Goldwing 1500 and one for his ST1300. They were at the Cleveland m/c show and we were impressed. I'm thinking about them for my Interstate, which uses the same setup as the 1500. I don't know about the standard or tourer.

These are similiar to the set from Xentec I picked up and installed in my I/S, they look kind of strange when they pop in and out when they switch from low to high beams or back. They work but I have a had a tough time getting them to adjust down low enough to run on low beam and still be low enough to run in highbeam and not light up the tree tops (only) at 150yds ahead of me.

I have had one ballast go bad after only 1 year of useage, I bought them from another forum member on a another forum so no return for my set no matter what the warranty said.
I also used the low beam only set for my Pod lights took a little triming and fitting to get them installed into the housings but with the 4 HID lights on WOW, that was a nice amount of light.

The light on the left is the HID the camera did not do it justice, it does not look that blue in person. the light on the right is a PIAA ultra white and it also is not done justice with my camera phone it normally looked pure white.

Here is the Fog/Pod lights. I went with the same tempurature color. These are also 35watt HID from Xentec.

Mounted balasts in the pods under the vent tube that runs through the POD.

These type of ballasts need to be mounted connector-side down or they will get wet inside.  That could have contributed to premature failure.

The new slim ballasts are sealed and don't have that mounting restriction.

Also, it's important to get the type of hi/low bulb that has the shielding (front and bottom) around it so that the light projection is deflected properly for each position. (Couldn't tell from your pics)
