Home is the sailor, home from sea,
And the hunter home from the hill.
It was a great week and a half in Texas, but tonight we're back in the land of Oz (no, not that one.
).
We had a great time with good friends. Special thanks to H. Glue and F. Babe. Warm wishes and thanks to Texas Deb. Good memories, great friends, fine rides, and a special detour. It just doesn't get any better.
Mama's electric starter ceased functioning last evening in Ardmore. She counted and says I pushed her eight times. Started out thinking maybe battery. Suspected the starter switch and then the starter relay. I think we're back to thinking battery and it'll be ready again before she is.
It was good seeing everyone and it was good spending some time in the wind.
Once more, I can almost see Pat in the saddle as he turns his face my way and advises, "Let the wind take your troubles away."
I'd like to say it's good to be home, and I'm sure it is, but there's a part of me that would just as soon be still in Texas.

It was great to have you and Lori here. We all wish
both
weekends had been for happy occasions. Glad to know you're home safe.
What are we going to do
this
weekend?
