That bike has a Curtiss built aircraft engine.. It is 4 cycle and carbureted.. Glenn Curtiss was a great man.. The Glenn Curtiss museum is in Hammondsport New York and is well worth the time going through..

I just watched both videos.. I don't know anything about the bike in the second video, something just doesn't look right.. The original 1906 bike is in Washington and a replica is in the Hammondsport museum.. But, Curtiss built a lot of motorbikes that were of very high quality during the early 1900s.. I'm looking for a carburetor [ 1 1/4"] for one of his 1912 W style 3 cylinder engines.. I believe he was the greatest early aviation pioneer and he got into aviation because fliers were willing to pay more for an engine than motorbikers..

I can't say enough about Glenn Curtiss.. He built motorbikes[ and the engines] from 1902-1914 under the names Hercules, Curtiss and Marvel.. At the time he and the bikes were virtually un-beatable, not even the Indian factory team could beat them.. He also made his first flight take-off under the aircraft engine power, others and the Wrights used catapults until 1914.. He created the sea-plane and Naval aviation right on little ole Keuka Lake and his planes made the first trans-Atlantic flight with 3 of his Naval sea-planes in 1919 .. This is just a little of what this man did and I don't want to bore anyone and more than I just did.. The museum is worth the time to go through.. Take a look at the 1906 bike, the home-made u-joint that broke at 90 mph and the brake as well as the direct drive open shaft and open bevels gears and home-made carburetor..
