For my smoker, need gloves that come up to the elbo, anyone know where to get them?

Not sure about firefighter gloves but, I've got a good friend that uses welding leather gloves for the same purpose.  Just a suggestion.  They seem to work for him.

PS, Never seen a firefighter glove that comes to your elbow. (I missed that in your orignal post) We wear turn out gear, no need to have them go past the wrist. Perhaps some kind of welding glove that was suggested earlier is indeed your best bet.

Harbor Freight welding gloves. Last ones i bought was three(3)pair for $10.00. And they make nice cols weather riding gloves also. cooldude RIDE SAFE.

Picked up a pair of really long welding gloves from General Air in Denver about a year ago.  They are above the elbow.  Really nice, no longer have burn scabs on my left arm.  I used to look like a heroin addict with needle tracks, never mind the pain of getting burned a lot.  No more.
