A coworker's wife is a CDL 3rd party tester for Semis, box trucks and school busses. Wed she was on a bus test and when the student did a legal stop at a RR crossing, an illegal Mexican slammed into the back of the bus at 45-50 MPH. It shoved the 25K lb bus into the tracks. A female PHX LEO showed up and could speak Spanish as the illegal spoke no English. No insurance and clearly his fault. After the accident paperwork, she allowed him to go with no tickets. "I really can't tell who was at fault." was her comment. As to the insurance, she had no comment. Now the truck driving school is out the damage to the bus and the student has to have another test for free as it wasn't his fault that his test was interrupted. I'm sure glad AZ is seen as a state who's "tough" on illegals. HMMMM!!!!!

These incidents are getting WAY past ridiculous. And this as i understand it goes on most everywhere. How many more are going to have to die before something is TRULY done?? How much more economic loss before something is done?? Why in the h3ll am i required to have uninsured motorist?? Oh wait-i know this!! RIDE SAFE-if you can.

I find it hard to believe that an illegal alien caused an accident like that (ESPECIALLY involving a school bus and railroad tracks, occupied or not) and was not cited for something. Just not having a driver's license is enough for an arrest. I'm not calling YOU a liar either. You may very well believe the story. I do not. I don't know your coworker or his wife from Adam so I'm not uncomfortable calling them liars.

One year I met up with Black Dog with Steve K (IA) in Wisconsin. Steve led us from his House to originally InZane. At the last Toll Booth in Illinois, we all 3 pulled up, stopped to pay our toll and when it was my turn I got rear ended and pushed about 2 or 3' past the Toll Booth. The Toll Booth operator called the Ill State Patrol. We set and waited 2 hours for a LEO to show up. I'd done enough names and etc exchanges, I decided to do it. I got pictures of his truck including the plate, and another of the driver. Got his information and gave him mine. We went on to InZane. Repaired the 3rd Brake light on the trailer and got home. Emptied out the contents and started looking over the damage. Found a couple of chunks of Fiberglass missing. Called the manufacture for prices on the pieces needed. Got them all gathered together with labor to fix and called the guy. He answered, told him who I was and this is what the trailer is going to need in repairs and how much. In his very broken speech, he told me get F**ked, there is no accident report so I'm off the hook and hung up. I called the state of Illinois and since there was not a accident report filed by the State Patrol or any LEO for that matter there was nothing they could do. So, a buddy of mine and I fixed it with a steel plate and then he glassed over it. Added a few extra #'s to the trailer but it sure pulled a hell of a lot better. Called a lawyer about the case and he told me it would cost more to pay him to get nothing than the loss already on the trailer. So I don't know if that is just Illinois or not, but that Mexican gentleman go off with highway robbery.

you're basically calling Sandy a BS'er. as if she's got nothing better to do then to post something that happened to her as a fictional story. what about RJ? is he BS also? sure, he's older, probably can't remember where he set his teeth from the night before, but does that mean he fabricates stories because he wants the attention? why can't you accept the fact that these people have experienced the injustice that is running rampant in America today regarding illegal aliens? it's a fact buddy, the judicial system cannot waist it's time trying to prosecute the increasing numbers of illegal alien crimes committed today. mainly because there's no money to be made. they have NO money 'cause they DON'T keep it here, they send it back to mexico. the judicial system knows that if they give them a fine, or ticket, they're just wasting their time knowing that you cannot expect a person that does not respect your laws to abide by your laws. they don't learn english because they don't intend to stay here. they want to make their money, and leave. if making that money is from illegal ventures, so be it. Oh, anvil, just to let you know something; THE BS STORY SANDY IS TALKING ABOUT IS SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED TO HER!!! Not something she made up. Why don’t you read the whole story before you attack someone? I remember RJ posting about his accident in ILL. that year, I didn’t remember reading about the outcome. Too bad he didn’t ask for $1000 when he had the guy stopped, he probably had that amount of cash with him. Let that be a lesson to you all…….

My HR manager got hit at an intersection near Gainesville, Fl by an illegal in a ratty old pickup. Her car was three days old. He had no license no insurance and spoke no English at all. His kids told her on the phone not to worry that he had money and would pay her for the damage. An accident report was filled out but no tickets were issued. He never paid her a penny. Yeah, I know Anvil, she is a liar too.

We actually have illegals up here. No, we're not being overrun by them but we've got em. Don't you think a good number of them try and get as far from that border as they can? I still say the story is BS or at the least, grapevine inaccurate. I can see not citing (as in fining) the individual in question because let's face it; if they're an illegal alien you're not going to get anything out of them in terms of money. Likewise if they don't have a license and SSN you can't really assign anything to them. And if they're uninsured then you unfortunately have to go through your own insurance anyway. But being an unlicensed driver AND illegal alien and nailing a school bus from behind and pushing it onto railroad tracks? IF that guy just walked away then that's a failure on the part of the responding officer, not the system. The system makes more than enough allowances for an arrest (if not justice) in a situation like that. RJ, I'm not really sure how your stories are all that similar. Once you left the scene without waiting for an officer to arrive at the scene you made it your word against his. Had you hung around (and I understand why you didn't) you may very well have had things straight. MH, I hear stories of illegals causing mayhem all the time. I don't hear stories of LE just letting them walk for it. The drunk driver in the link you posted is in jail. That doesn't really support Sandy's story, does it? And of course lawyers don't want illegals deported. Do you realize how much that would cost them in fees? I hear these horror stories of illegals (and other unpopular groups) doing bad things and getting away with it all the time. Sometimes they're even reported as "news". Outrage always follows and the objective is obtained. But how often do they end up being flatly untrue propaganda pieces? Remember that crap about Obama giving away our islands that turned out to be total BS? This is how apocryphal stories that wind up in viral emails that in turn wind up on Snopes start. Someone relays a story about getting hit by an illegal with no insurance, then they tell two friends but maybe they throw in: "and I'll bet the cops just let em go!" Before you know it that turns into the illegal also had a dead woman in his trunk and they STILL let them go. I've just seen the way these things spin out of control too many times.

Down in SFla it is Haitians that are the problem, sometimes Mexicans, similar stories accident, Police report, no license, The perpetrator walks then says get lost. If I can loose my license over not having insurance as a law abiding citizen, have to pay more for insurance to get uninsured motorist, {because the government cant do its job} yet the Police let the offender in a accident walk why cannot I sue the government for the losses that I have incurred since it is their lack of control? ANYONE?? By the way I know personally of 4 situations that this has happened with extensive damage in one accident to 5 vehicles. Another the guy hit a lady in a Mercedes stopped looked at the damage and then pulled off before the Police got there. One accident the guy plowed into a boat my friend was towing again no insurance. Wont go into details on the rest.

Folks;I don't know 'bout other states, but in California, undocumented folks cannot obtain a driver's license, nor pay insurance or Income taxes. ??? Everyone's gardener in my neighborhood is undocumented. Many tell me that they would gladly pay insurance and income taxes but they aren't allowed by law... Such is the case with a British nurse that I am helping. She came here on a contract with the local hospital. The hospital wants to keep her but her visa expired and INS refuses to renew it. Now she's unemployed, uninsured and no longer pays taxes. ??? She's gone now from undocumented worker to a full-fledge illegal alien. Let's face it, these folks are not going anywhere soon. Therefore, by denying driver's licenses, insurance and tax payments, we are shooting ourselves in the foot.... just sayin.' =============================================================== A POTENTIAL JOKE An undocumented worker rear ends a Rolls Royce with his beat up gardening truck. The owner steps out upset, yelling obscenities at the culprit. The Gardener replies... "Calm down Sir; why are you so pissed! I'm the one without insurance!

I've personally seen a mid size car push a good sized dump truck off the road from hitting it from the side as the car was entering the freeway. the physics of the thing allow for it, when rearended you will let up on the brake naturally with the inertia and you can be pushed easier then you think.

Just saw this...
RJ's story is true, we waited longer than 2 hours, and still no LEO showed up. RJ had witnesses, pictures of the offenders truck, plates, and of the offender... The dude walked, 'cause it would be more trouble than it was worth to see through to any kind of ticket/fine...

I've heard of at LEAST one story of a illegal at the wheel causing mayhem and walking, in one case causing a death or two.
Define "walking". Was it a trial (illegals are still afforded due process) or did they just not even bother to cite or charge the illegal? You see, I still don't buy that anyone's letting illegals cause accidents, property damage and death and just letting them go without any kind of processing. IF it's happening then it's a lazy cop, not a problem with the system. And you know what? I guess that's possible afterall.
