I know the following link if for the VTX 1800, but the forks look very similar. I've never done this before, Is this a good video to watch?

There's 4 videos and the VTX forks are practically identical to ours.  The videos are excellent help.  Use the videos, the manual, and take your time.

I just finished doing my forks by the video an had no trouble.First time no leaks so far.Polished the tubes and lowers at the same time.

Haven't tried this yet, don't have the courage or the time but needed the seals replaced.  I found a certified Honda mech on Craigslist less than 10 mins from my home and he did them for 1/2 of the price the stealer quoted me.
