Y'all have fun... I worked on rounding up a crowd for a South Carolina ride,
Stanley Steamer's back is hurt, Dennis (the guy with the Confederate Valkyrie)
is putting in the garden today, Henry's ST1100 is in the shop (Wheeler's in
Robbinsville), but I think my buddy Dan is up for a ride and he has
a buddy with a Norton that might go.
Alone or with a group, I'm headed down some real pig trails in South Carolina
down around Lowndesville and Troy... I "practiced" on them some on my way
to Charleston this week... did a lot of getting lost, turning around and going down
dirt roads... hopefully I'll be able to hook them all together today and make a
good ride...
This is an octagon shaped Plantation house, it was a popular style between
1840 and 1860 or so... this one is supposedly a "significant" remaining
example...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frazier-Pressley_HouseHere's a cool bridge I went over...

I guess I can't take a bunch of riders over this bridge... this is one of the
oldest roads in the state, whoda thunk it?

I'm waiting for Dan to call... He's a pilot, so usually "he'd rather be flying",
but he has a good Valkyrie, it will start even if he hasn't ridden it in two months...
