The wall leaves Seagoville at 9:00am on the final leg of its journey to Kaufman where it will be installed.  In order for us to escort it we need to stage by 8:30am at Bruce Central Park on Hwy 175 just east of Belt Line Rd in Seagoville.  Continuing to work "backwards" that means we need to be in a KSU mode about 7:45am from Al Lambs, soooooo meet at 7:30am!  (wow, finally got there).  Some have requested that we not ride with the Dallas HOG so we will go directly to the park in Seagoville.  Lunch will be served in the park after the "dignitaries"  speak.  There is no charge however, donations will be accepted to help the American Legion with the costs.  They have asked for an approximate head count (to have enough food) so either post up or send me an email if you plan to ride.  Everyone will be on their own following the ceremonies/lunch, etc.  If the group wants to ride back to Big D togther that's fine.  I'm going east to finish the Labor Day weekend in my hammock.

Sorry I missed the meeting to answer questions.  Some people are really inconsiderate about when they get hurt.  Don't they know I planned to be at the VRCC meeting.  Did not leave the clinic til bout 7:30p last Thursday.  Any questions, email or 469-595-3222 (cell).

Fifteen grand and fifteen miles does not make you a biker!!

This is gonna be a major event.  Police/hwy patrol escort for traffic.  The city of Kaufman is closing their main square for the parade and the road going south of town.  We leave Seagoville at 9:00a after safety meeting for all riders.  The ceremonies in Kaufman begin at 10:00.  Patriot guard and American Legion riders are leading the wall.  We will bring up the rear.  Plenty of parking at the park.  Multiple state representatives and the like are gonna be present.  It's in all the papers and local media.  Lookin forward to ridin with all of you again.  C ya Saturday, Al Lambs, 7:30 a. KSU 7:45a. Larry

Head count heads-up for Doc.

I'm not sure Janet will make it, but I currently have two other riders (HD Fred & HD Randy) planning on coming with us.

Additionally, my buddy, Jersey Bill Stueber, ride coordinator for the "Just Ride" DFW Meet-Up Group, has posted our itinerary to his group.  I will monitor and post the RSVPs to keep your head count tally as accurate as possible.

Hey Godfire, small world, huh.

Doc, Bill's group has 9 RSVPs as of noon Thursday.  That number includes Sly, Godfire, and me.  Bill will start with us, but will not be able to spend the entire time with us due to funeral he must attend.  Not sure about his lunch plans.

Total in addition to VRCCers so far is 8.  (Fred, Randy, Bill's 6)

Would love to be there, but I'm going to be in College Station Fri Night for Midnite Yell and then staying over for the game Saturday and to watch my youngest on his first march-in as a member of the Corps of Cadets Class of '12 (and "12" is a really important number at A&M).
