Not something you see every day. For some reason, I really wasn't that surprised... Just another thing to do before the sun went down. Got him out in good shape

I don't think this sport is going to catch on.

Birdies, Eagles, Bogeys, Horseys?

Nope. Don't think it'll catch on.

I guess if it had been a donkey that fell in the hole, there would have been some entertaining caption possibilities for this post...   2funny

Wow, what an interesting way to start your day. Glad you got him out OK.

Looks like he wasn't happy about it, he's got kind of a "long face".

We used a small backhoe to unhole him. Very calm throughout the process. As he walked up the ramp we had made him, he stopped looked back, and made a large donation to help fill the hole .

We think it was an old septic tank... I'd like to believe it was an old under ground still. the top finally rotted through and ... wallah we have a horse trap. Once he was out, got a good look at the hole. About 4ft wide by12ft long 6ft deep w/ cinder block walls, the top of the roof was about 2ft underground. the floor was dry.   Was thinkin about throwing a rope around his head and pulling him out with the bike (Valk related) but thought better of it.
