Saw my first 2010 Fury today.  Came out of a meeting at the Ravinia office complex and saw this in the parking garage. It sits low. Looks very plain. Not sure if I like it or not. What do y'all think? (Nevermind, I know y'all donlt like any V twins....)    Lighting wasn't very good in the parking garage  |

I like it ok. It looks like they took some styling ques from Victory, but it is a bit on the plain side.
I would buy the Vic first, I think.

The sold models tend to roll off more stripped down than pictured in the brochures...but that one looks down right naked. Maybe someone needs to cover it up with a few more cylinders to fill it out a bit...  |

I went to the local Honda dealer last weekend to look at the Fury. I had the same take many others have mentioned...I couldn't decide if I liked it or not. It is appropriate to mention here that the first time I saw the Valkyrie, there was no moment of indecision, it was love at first sight. I suppose that says something in itself.
After looking at the Fury for a while, my thoughts gradually drifted from whether or not I liked it, more to what Honda's long term strategy is going to be and how their offerings match the competition. As I left the showroom, my curiosity had been satisfied and I had no further interest in looking at the Fury.

I think its a pretty decent looking nike for an off the showroom floor "custom chopper" but not for me.

I am a big fan of stripped down bikes. For zipping around town and just looking cool. Honda had the balls to do what H.D did not. Now, if it had a VTX 1800 motor. Well a hot rod VTX motor. Looks like a fun bike. Looks like a blank canvas to me!

Saw one on display at Cyclefest in Auburn, IN last weekend. From a distance, I thought it was a custom "scooter," you know, one of those little lawn mower engine-powered thingys. Up close, I realized there was a sizeable two pot in it, but still couldn't get past the "toy" looks of the thing.
Like others, there are other twins I would buy before this one if I wanted a twin. I'll also keep my Valk.

Inline 4 power that baby & THEN Honda would have something. Duff, your'e barkin' up the wrong tree asking Valk people to fall in love with a twink.  Gotta admire Honda's chutzpah in offering the Fury..... but IMHO why not go all the way with a "non-traditional" powerplant? Thanks for the pics!  |

There's nothing there to like. pretty boring bike if you ask me, all i know is all those hardly riders are going to look at it and think that Honda just wanted to copy a "clasic?" i've always been one for going my own way, not following the croud, it's just another v-twin to me.

Stopped by two dealerships in the Mpls/St. Paul area yesterday (parts run: one place didn't have what I was looking for but showed another branch had 'em in stock) that BOTH had one each. First place had a "keep yer mitts off, it's sold" type sign on a plain black one that halfway carried off an understatedly cool look except for the underdeveloped and just plain WRONG engine , second place had a sort of candy apple maroon or whatever one that just plain didn't do anything for me at all. |

I seen one in the local Honda dealer about a week ago. I spent most of my time looking at a used Valkyie tourer. I found the Fury boring!!!
