I dumped DISH and subscribe to Netflix online.

I like it.

I'm not a sports watcher and do not miss the crap I was being fed.

i'm not a big fan of movies.  most of what's produced in hollyweird are just remakes of the same story, just different charectors.

now, Japanesse and European movies, or some of the ones from India, are good.

it's like Opera, there's not always a good happy ending, sometimes the hero dies, sometimes the perfect couple split, or kill each other.  too many American movies (i probably mean Disney movies) end with the "good guy always winning"

plus, MAINLY, i'm way too cheap.  i'll watch TCM or AMC on regular cable.  good enough for me.....

I don't have any form of cable, too much money for too many channels that I don't watch any way.
When they go to unbundling and 'pay only for what you want' , I'll go back

For now, I have an internet Tv and Netflix.  The foreign movies are, on the average, much better than the US movies plus they have captions.  Netflix is unable to transmit captions unless they are 'built in' like foreign movies.  The audio also comes through with bits missing so my hard of hearing ears have trouble but it's better than nothing and no commercials.

I do miss cable news tho.(Fox).  Let the flaming begin,  Cheesy
