now that's the way to live life!!  i wonder who's thinking he should "settle down" and "start a life"?

you also have to wonder if he lived life a little when he was married, if he would have still been married?  woman enjoy doing those things also, i bet his wife dumped him 'cause he was  a couch potato!!  Grin Grin

What ever you do where ever you go there you are. When the honey moon is over you are still left with yourself, I would have added one more thing to the list get to know the Lord so when the shock jock stuff is over I have the wisdom and help to deal with the life in the future. Wink

Somehow I don't think he was a couch potato... He did have a motorcycle, jet ski, and parachuting equipment in his ebay auction... most couch potatos might have seen those things on TV... but never owned them...  Grin

Good for him for doing what he did... He probably got a good piece of change for the rights to his story too... He did end up buying an island... and seems like he found someone that appreciated him more...  Could be SHE was the couch potato and didn't like him being so energetic.  cooldude

Seven yrs ago I was on a motorcycle trip from Houston to Colorado and went to 4 corners in the SW corner of colorado.  While there a guy in his early 50's pulled in on an old beat up Harley and man it was loaded down with everthing but the kitchen sink and he looked pretty rough.  Got to talking with him and he was a banker and got a divorce, took some of his half of the money and bought the old Harley and some gear and had been on the road for 6 months and said he was going to go till the money ran out....and there he would land and get back in the banking business......you never know what trials a person goes through.

My Bucket List:

1. Pay off the mortgage.  Done
2. Have a real "nest egg" for retirement. Done
3. No outstanding bills. Done
4. Own all my vehicles outright. Done
5. Get my daughter through University. Almost Done

Everything else is just icing on the cake.

I agree with Robert.  Its a great two years......I have done many of the things in that article and they are great......no doubt about it, but worth nothing if it costs your soul
