I strip the ST twice a year to clean the engine and do whatever maintenance is required at that time.

This time it was a coolant flush.

Looks ugly nekkid.

Ifn I bring ya' my ST1300 will you do the same? Don't  mind working on the Valk, but I HATE HATE HATE dealing with 4 hours of tupperware to do 10 minutes of work on the ST... My biggest complaint about that bike... (That, and the ease with which the mirrors like to jump off their mountings!)

When yove stripped it as many times as I have its easy

Mirrors should NOT pop off

Should be flush with body

Tweak the female side of the connection to make a securer grip
