I just talked to America's Best Motel in Marion.Va. ( 1424 North Main Street Marion, VA 24354..... 276-378-0481 ) they have plenty of rooms for this weekend . I blocked off 10 down stairs rooms for this weekend. Be sure to say " Smokin'joe " when checking in to get a special rate. No need for reservations as he said he would hold these rooms for me and add more if needed.The group ridin' with me should be there between 5:00 and 6:00 friday evening as we plan to make a ride getting there. Anyone wanting to hook up with us can do so in Clinton,Tn on friday morning 4-13 @ 9:00 or at Shady Valley Country Store on THE SNAKE outside of Mountain City ,TN. we should be there around 12:30 / 1:00 ....Be sure to let me know if you plan on meeting us . Weather is looking great so the scoutin' ride is a GO....Bring It...LET'S RIDE   |

I'm in Clinton now... at the TravelLodge. Last I heard Santa and Hal47 are to be here tomorrow, and we'll all meet you Friday morning. If y'all still go to dinner Thursday evening, I'd sure like to tag along... OK?

My room is booked  , bringing a Harley rider with me.,DWayne....rides with me all the time . We will leave Lewisburg W.Va around 5:00 should hit town about 7-7:30 |

I will be leaving around 9am on Thur. for the Travel lodge. Taking back roads plus time change (I remembered this time) should be there by 4pm. See you then Hal and Bruce.

Bigwolf If you mentioned the Hillbilly Ride in your conversation, they may have thought you were talking about the weekend in June when they said they were booked..you could just cancel your room at the other hotel and come over with us.. I want to remind everyone, this is a scouting ride, which means we will be timing our stops and picking locations for those stops, we will also be timing how long it takes to get to these stops so that the ride is on time for the meal at the food bank....just a reminder that is not going to be a peg scraper or a race thru the mountains... |
