Um boom ba Bay Um boom ba Bay Ba Ba Boom Ba Be Be

London Ontario Canada

« on: April 14, 2012, 04:22:56 AM »

Hi All This was our second Friday the 13th of the year which means that any warm blooded biker within hours of Pt Dover Ontario called in sick or took a vacation day to make the trek to Dover. We are Druids so a high holiday there.

My son Jacob and friend George left London with it being in the high 20s out. Was a fresh ride there but made us that much wanting a warm breaky and coffee there.
Make the event and they will come.

Jacob and Geo.

Some pics. News had the crowd at 70,000 which is about a third of what the mid summer Dover will be at.

Did see one other Valkyrie while we were there. This bike was clean.Very nice.

It still amazes me that a 13 year old bike like my 99 still gets people stopping and looking at it. Thousands of nice bikes there and folks still point at the engine and talk.Makes you wonder about Honda.

Jacob's Shadow is nicely done up and got his fair share of looks as well. Must be all the geat stuff that Scott from Talisman made for him.Speaking of Talisman,They had their booth there too.

Since no one would take a pic of my mug there, did one on my own. Sorry about that.

All in all A great day to ride.
Happy Trails Adrian(Chrome)V

I travelled 3 1/2 hrs to get to Port Dover. Damn cold startin out at
7 am, but had all my winter gear on. Saw all the bikes you got
pictured. The breeze comin in off lake erie was brisk.

That blue and silver Valk was Super clean, not a mark on it.

Takin my camera next time. So much nice hardware to see.
