cooldude Had a great time... and we beat the Hardley rides to the waitresses. Some really great back roads. And, Mother Nature cooperated!

That Harley group was certainly not pleased to find us there, seated and eating, when they arrived.  Guy made a big fuss about having called ahead, changed his attitude when he learned that we, too, had called ahead.

There's just something about good food and good friends ...... this time our paths crossed.

made it home finally, right at 400 miles for the day.  Enjoyed meeting and eating with everyone today.  Eating leftovers for supper lol.  Weather was perfect, no U turns but one detour due to a ovesize load taking up both lanes of 39.

Thanks for starting a great day Bobby. That country fried bacon was a lot better than I anticipated, the fellowship was even greater. Went on to Nacogdoches, ate again with my Grand Daughter, got into Beaumont about 6:53, went to the Church to meet my Wife and ate some more. Total trip, including wonderful roads and scenery around the Brenham area, 511.4 miles, what a day, let's do it again.

It was a great day having fun with a bunch of great folks.   Glad that several got to finally experience that epicurian delight Chicken Fried Bacon  cooldude  No fog, no rain and cloud cover to keep out the sun with just enough Texas wind to keep things interesting.  You guys made my day memorable. Thanks for sharing it with SugarPlum and me.  GJ

Great Ride, Good Food and Friends! Wow, what a good day! Dian and I enjoyed the whole day and we were surprised at how tired we were when we finally got sat down for the night. We were sharing our newfound SunBlock - "Biker Block" SPF 45. Not slimey and really works. from Arizona Sun Products. 1-800-442-4786 arizonasun.com  it sprays on and dries to the touch in seconds. Thanks Bobby, we sure did enjoy ourselves!
