Back before my wife was my wife she decided that she needed to "take a break" from our relationship for a while. We'd been together for six months and she was going through the toughest part of obtaining her degree so she thought she needed to focus on school. Looking back on it she was right. I was a needy pain in the ass and while I wasn't actively hindering her I was no help. Just my presence and requirement for attention was a distraction she didn't need. But I had doubts that she would come back to me (would you? can you see the source of my distress?) so I pretty much stopped eating and merely existed. I lost something like 30 lbs during this period. I know exactly where you're coming from.

But yeah, you might also get checked by a doctor. Can't hurt, unless he gives you the finger of doom.

Congrats and keep it up.  I have lost 25 lbs in the past 3 months, but it was from diet and exercise.  Dam that e word should be four letters.
