Ralph Waldo said it best.  Departing, hopefully at 7:00am for Nashville then points kind of unknown.

Hooking up with an old friend from College in Nashville I've not seen nor talked with in 25 years.  A few emails over the last several months, but that is it!  Hope her husband likes me!!  cooldude

From there headed East to Dayton, to meet up with some new friends I met in Robbinsville last Septemeber on my inagural Valk Ride.  From there, camping in Asheville for a few days, then who knows....Perhaps a stop in Winston/Salem to pick up some smokes, (just like the name)...to visit a couple I met in Cozumel in 1996.  Then perhaps up to DC.   Might even make it up to Mass......(The Commonwealth, not the place with the old guy in the funny hat)..

Nothing like having a great plan where nothing is really planned!!   Of course I've done my best to plan for the unexpected....but we all know how that goes!!

I'll be posting periodically with some images and possibly witty banter......I'm packed and ready!!

On the back is the a bright red Malboro duffel bag......Anyone remember the "Malboro Miles" from the early 90's??  That was one of the "prizes"....A really nice bag!!  It is holding about all of my camping stuff...  I wired some LED brake/turn lights to the back of the carrier.  Not sure of it's integrity....very sloppy welds....Purchased it from ebay....Found a link to the guy on this site....Well, if it is a problem, I've extra straps to tie down the load....

And for those of you who are looking extra close....I've added a third speaker.  It is an old Radio Shack Minimus AV44....Actually has some decent bass!! The speaker weighs about 5 pounds....Has a decent little woofer....Wired up from a 4 channel amp bridged, so it is mono....and the two "satellites" are just for fill....Sounds really nice!! Wired up a new amp in the saddlebag..  so the sound will be extra good...
