I live here in W.Va. and have the pleasure of riding great roads everytime I go out ,but to take a route that only Highbinder can map out is a few steps above the normal ride here in W.Va. He always makes sure to include the full gauntlet in his rides....every thing from scenic veiws , to challenging twisties ,long sweepers , not to mention the history lesson we always receive .
But I have to say that my biggest thrill is to be able to share some wind and story telling time with what I refer to "The Legends" in the Valkyrie world . Face it we are an elite group that choose to ride the best engineered motorcycle ever built . And the guy's and gal's like DDT ,Lucky 13 ,Smokin Joe ,Highbinder and his bride Lady Draco ,Charlemac,Winghot ,the list goes on with Valk riders from all over the United States and sometime other countries . To be able to hang out with this group of people is by far makes the best weekend anyone could hope for .
Candy and I was all set to go to Zmax dragway this past weekend where as a Matco Distb. I would have been in the pits with all the Shoemaker team watching our driver Antron Brown along with others lineup 4 wide and launch 32000 horsepower down the 1/4 mile track at 330 mph . Long story short....our first attempt at the scouting ride got weathered out so it was moved to this past weekend.....It took me all of about 1/2 a second to cancel the NHRA drags and fall in with the Valkyrie ride.
Thanks to all who I had the pleasure of sharing some wind and stories with Friday night and Sat.  hate I wasn't able to hang out Sat. night...See ya in June

Thanks for the compliments Ron, been called a lot of things in my life time but never a legend.. Smiley....Now DDT is a legend 420,000 miles on the same bike, same clutch, that unheard of...putting a good ride together in W.Va. is pretty easy, just go in any direction.. cooldude This ride is different because we wanted to show the riders a part of W.Va. that isn't on the tourist route, coal country was one of those places... looking forward to this ride.. :cooldude:Thanks for your help Ron.
