Dairyland sent me my annual renewal, $365 for the year.  10/15 coverage with 3k for add on chrome.

I called me local Allstate rep, got much better coverage of 25/50 but the coverage was same for rest for $150 for the year.  Still, I dropped add on to 1k and now pay $108 annually.

What happened at Dairyland to make them so expensive?  I had them for 15 years and they used to be an inexpensive option.

Been riding for 35 years and had my Valk since 2000, no at fault anything...tickets/wrecks, etc...

Same here, had Dairyland since 01, they were the cheapest. Last year when my renewal came, the price went out of sight. I now have Progressive, 240 a year full coverage.

I have allstate for around 150 per year.  Each state is different even with same company.  Progressive is pretty cheap also.  Pays to shop around every year or two.  I suspect Allstate will be going up also come renewal in August so will shop around then also.

I get a pretty good deal from Progressive. I was going to get a quote from my Allstate agent since I've got my home and cages insured through them but.... My homeowners suddenly skyrocketed this past year, makes me wonder if they intentionally gave me a low ball price to switch companies several years ago. Now I'm afraid the same thing would happen with motorcycle insurance so I'm sticking with Progressive.

I've progressive as well.  My rate actually went down this year.

Unfortunately I did have a claim with my first ride.  They were quick.  Uninsured, (an most likely illegal).....They paid up fast.

I use to have Allstate for home and auto for about 4 years running and 1 1/2 years ago they jacked up both our home and auto 8% both.  Agent said everyone in WI got socked and hit with the increase due to more claims paid out that year.  So, called up IMT/Wadena insurance agent local who sells their insurance based out of Des Moines IA and saved a ton on premiums for home and auto, at least until they jack up the rate again for no reason and then have to switch to yet another insurance company.  Their cycle insurance they go thru though is Progressive since they have no cycle insurance.  I recommend highly considering finding a local agent who sellsr IMT/Wadena insurance since their rates should be lower than most out there for home and auto.
